Carrot Time

At this time of year the mind naturally drifts to Carrots!
All the talk of Bunnies for the last few weeks makes it impossible not to think of these sweet crunchy healthy snacks.
Carrots are filled with many things that can help a cancer patient, Vitamin A, Fiber, Beta Carotene to name a few.

Something that may surprise you is that Carrots may actually be healthier for you if you cook them. Cooking makes the Beta Carotene in carrots more readily available to your body while other nutrients may be slightly diminished with cooking.

How about a nice salad with raw carrots and a side of beautifully steamed carrots with the meal? The best of both worlds.
